Used Biodiesel Plant, new 2006, shutdown 2008, 30,000 tpy feedstock (sunflower, canola), ~12,000 tpy biodiesel, 1200- 3000 tpy glycerol 99%, 18,000 tpy sunflower / canola meal. Consist of the following: seed storage silo, 2 x 2000 tonnes; pre-treatment line (Infeed auger system and bucket elevators; screener, dust collectors), Pressing line (1 ripple mill, 1 mill, 1 precooker, 1 screw press, 100 tpd, stainless steel press filter), Flake extraction unit (rotative extractor, Bulgarian made, 50 tonnes per hours; meal desolventizer, dryer and coller, vacuum tank for micella separation, distillation columns for solvent recovery) transesterification line (methoxide catalyst preparation line, transesterification reactors, glycerol separation tank, filter press), Gianazza glycerol recovery line, 10 tpd (new 1990, initially designed for glycerine recovery from soap lyes). Horizontal storage tanks for biodiesel (200 cubic metres total capacity). Storage tank for oil (500 cubic metres). Boiler, fueled with husks, charcoal and/or petroleum fuel.
